Coaching, Mentoring and Program Implementation

Time to Sign, Inc. is dedicated to supporting effective and meaningful communication for Businesses, Families, Caregivers, Educators, and Children by teaching American Sign Language (ASL) in a fun and educational way.

Our Cutting Edge Train the Trainer Certified Program will teach participants early childhood management words, phrases and transitions to enhance behavior and classroom management. These programs also teach educators how to incorporate ASL into daily routines to create an "inclusive environment" where all children can learn, socialize and communicate, which in turn leads to personal growth and development.

Our Trainers will learn how to assist their agency’s teachers, families and children in:

Train the Trainer Curriculum Program
This Workshop provides American Sign Language (ASL) training for professionals to be used in the preschool/childcare environment. The workshop goes over 17-topics of our curriculum workshop teaches ASL words tailored for the preschool/school environment through the use of age-appropriate songs, games, stories and activities. This workshop will teach over 600 words covering the following topical areas:

 Basic Signs
 Language Arts
 Food, Farm, Garden & Animals
 Home, Family, Transportation, and Holiday Signs
 Classroom and Behavior Management
 Traditional Songs
 And more..

Workshop will also teach how to incorporate into daily routine; lesson plans, working with staff using Sign Language and more.

Learn to deliver In-Class Coaching and Mentoring

Participants will receive a coaching and mentoring session and taught how to use sign language to assist their sites.
Certified Instructors will learn how to work directly with teachers and children to:
 Heighten awareness and encourage sign language learning.
 Support staff in practicing the activities they learned in the Time to Sign program.
 Increase familiarization and utilization of the resource materials teachers received during and after the training.
 Assist teaching staff in applying Time to Sign program instruction to daily activities including songs, greetings, use of manners, positive use of expressions and more.
 Time to sign will train the trainer to deliver four different workshops

On-line access to our Time to Sign Institute for handouts, agendas, signs, letters, program implementation tools, flyers, advertising materials, lesson plans and more.
